Do I need to clean before you arrive?

No. We ask that surfaces are accessible, but your home does not need to be cleaned or pre-organized. Decluttering is part of our process.

Is decluttering required?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Decluttering is a non negotiable part of the OAK process. Systems work best when excess is removed first. All decluttering is guided and judgment-free.

Question 4

Can you use my existing bins and containers?

Accepted Answer

Existing containers may be reused only if they are uniform in style, size, and condition. Mismatched bins are not incorporated. Product sourcing is required to create cohesive, functional systems.

How does product sourcing work?

Products are selected after decluttering and measuring to ensure accuracy. Organizing products are quoted separately and approved before purchase.

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A project deposit is required to secure your spot on the calendar. A separate product deposit is also collected prior to the project and applied toward organizing materials.

What happens if product costs are more of less than the product deposit?

Accepted Answer

Final product costs are reconciled after purchase. If product costs exceed the deposit, the remaining balance is invoiced. If costs come in under the deposit, the remaining balance may be applied toward additional services or refunded upon request.

How long does a project take?

Project length depends on the scope and service selected. Typical projects range from one focused space to multiple days for whole-home resets. Estimated hours are provided with your quote.

Will my project be completed in one day?

Some projects can be completed in one day, while others require a follow-up visit for product installation. This allows systems to be designed accurately and intentionally.

Do you offer labeling?

Standard functional labeling is included in every project. Custom or specialty labeling is available as an add-on.

What happens with donations?

One car-load of donation haul-away is included with each project. Additional donation runs are available as an add-on. Trash removal is the responsibility of the client and must be placed curbside.

Will I help with the organizing?

We work together during the decluttering phase, as your input is essential in deciding what stays and what goes. Once decluttering is complete, we prefer to work independently while organizing.

This allows us to move efficiently, make thoughtful decisions, and fully focus on creating systems that function well for your home. We will always walk you through the finished systems at the end so everything feels clear and intuitive.
